Hash Brown Sausage Quiche *gluten free

Yummm. An easy bake!

  • Crust: 3 cup shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup diced sausage (I love the flavored options from Trader Jo’s)
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (or alternate milk)
  • dash of salt and pepper
  1. Preheat oven 425 FImage
  2. Press hash browns onto bottom and sides of 9″ pie dish. Drizzle with melted butter, sprinkle with salt
  3. Bake in preheated oven 20 min or until beginning to brown
  4. Small bowl: add sausage, onion, cheese
  5. Other bowl: whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper
  6. Spread ham mixture on bottom, then cover with egg mixture
  7. Reduce oven to 350 F, bake 20-25 min or until golden, puffed filling


(Should be higher. I tried to make my own hashbrowns b/c the store ones are perserved with corn/soy/wheat/sugar. It didn’t work so well. Any suggestions?)
