My body and food started battling each other about three years ago, though I know I experienced symptoms growing up as well.
I’ve received many different possible diagnosis over the years: allergies, parasite, auto-immune disease, SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth), reactive hypoglycemia/irregular blood sugar processing… and have been exposed to many alternative recipes along the way.
These recipes come from a variety of sources and often fall under one or more labels of: GAPS diet, Paleo (caveman diet), SCD (specific carbohydate diet), low glycemic index/label foods, gluten-free, vegan, sugar-free, grain-free, dairy-free, organic, fresh, and non-processed.
